Laser Dentistry
The miraculous use of energy produced by light from dental lasers has forever changed the standard of care of many dental procedures. Dr. Beers has been a pioneer in providing laser therapies to his patients in New Mexico. As a founding member of the American Academy of Laser Dentistry for 9 years, he is the only dentist in our state to have achieved the prestigious mastership level of proficiency as recognized by the Academy.
Dr. Beers has published and lectured on the surgical use of the CO2 laser in orthodontic soft tissue finishing procedures. His team of hygienists are also trained and very skilled in the use of the NdYAG laser for non-surgical treatment of gum disease. Both Julie Brister and Debra Estep are skilled hygienists on our staff. They are both currently trained in the use of the NdYAG laser in the non-surgical treatment of gum disease.

Orthodontics
Orthodontic therapy utilizing functional appliances and Damon 3 braces can dramatically improve one's appearance by aligning both teeth and jaws. Dr. Beers prefers to avoid bicuspid extraction therapy in order to preserve the patient’s profile. Utilizing Damon 3 braces and bio-efficient, copper-nickel-titanium wires, treatment time is frequently cut in half.
Whitening
Regardless of how well you care for your teeth, it is inevitable that, over time, some yellowing or discoloration will occur. Teeth Whitening is a chemical process used to correct discoloration and lighten the color of your teeth restoring that youthful smile of years gone by. The procedure can be performed entirely in our office with BriteSmile® or it can be accomplished in the privacy of your own home using materials provided by Dr. Beers.

This state of the art technology is safe and effective using two simple elements: (1) Whitening gel applied by a trained professional which is (2) activated by BriteSmile’s patented gentle blue light. You leave the office after just one visit with brighter, whiter teeth.
While take home whitening may take a little longer the results are equally as beautiful. We create a customized mouth tray designed specifically for you. This assures that the correct amount of whitening gel is used and that each tooth is properly exposed it. Tooth Whitening is the first and simplest step to a younger looking smile.
